No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Slavia (4-3) edged 12th ranked Balkan 2 (1-4) in Botevgrad 77-74 on Sunday. It was a good game for forward Kristiyan Georgiev (196-98) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Nikolay Stefanov (192-99) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Slavia's coach Kostadin Kostov used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Petko Petkov (190-1) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Erik Kirilov (175-2) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Balkan 2. Four Balkan 2 players scored in double figures. Slavia moved-up to fifth place. Balkan 2 lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
