Regular Season Round 6: Lokomotiv GO - Chavdar 77-91

An interesting game for Chavdar (4-1) which played road game in Gorna Oryahovitsa against 4th ranked Lokomotiv GO (0-4). Second ranked Chavdar managed to get a 14-point victory 91-77. It was a good game for guard Kamen Penchev (187-0) who led his team to a victory with 42 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Gabriel Yonkov (190-0) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Naturalized British guard Radostin Papazov (192-98) replied with 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and swingman Toni Prokopiev (190-95) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lokomotiv GO. Four Lokomotiv GO players scored in double figures. Chavdar maintains second position with 4-1 record having just one point less than leader Showtime, which they share with Lokomotiv S. Newly promoted Lokomotiv GO still closes the standings with four games lost. Chavdar will face league's leader Slow & Furious in Pleven in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lokomotiv GO will play on the road against Chardafon in Gabrovo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
