Bottom-ranked Gisa Lions is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to eighth ranked Goettingen (2-2) 71-64 on Saturday evening. Australian-British forward Samantha Roscoe (190-95, college: N.Dakota) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Croatian Ruzica Dzankic (179-94) accounted for 19 points and 4 steals. Czech power forward Barbora Kasparkova (183-92) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Laura Schinkel (173-99) added 12 points respectively for Gisa Lions in the defeat. Goettingen moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Osnabrueck and Hannover. Loser Gisa Lions still closes the standings with four games lost. Goettingen will meet league's second-placed TSV 1880 Wasserburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gisa Lions will play against Osnabrueck (#7) and hope to get finally their first victory.
