Regular Season Round 7: Istanbul - Final Spor 60-65

Bottom-ranked Istanbul is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fourteenth ranked Final Spor (2-4) 65-60 on Sunday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Terrell Allen (190-97, college: Georgetown) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 8 assists. His fellow American import center Chris Harris (208-97, college: Houston, agency: Inception Sports) accounted for 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Forward Tarik Sezgun (208-1, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and guard Enes Bayraktar (186-2) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for Istanbul in the defeat. Final Spor maintains fourteenth place with 2-4 record. Istanbul lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with seven games lost. Final Spor will meet at home higher ranked Duzce Belediye (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Istanbul will play against Ankara Basket (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
