A very close game took place in Yerevan between Cilicia and Erebuni. Eighth ranked Cilicia (3-10) got a very close home victory over 6th ranked Erebuni (5-9). Cilicia managed to escape with a 1-point win 96-95 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Erebuni. The hosts trailed by 21 points after three quarters before their 40-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. Forward William Jenkins (201-96, college: Virginia Union) had a triple-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Dylan Spriggins (198-92, college: Limestone) chipped in 21 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Spriggins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Tavis-Pistol Smith (190-99, college: Belm.Abbey) responded with 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and forward Jordan Taylor (198-98, college: Stockton, agency: Big Game Management Inc.) produced a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cilicia moved-up to seventh place. Loser Erebuni keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
