Regular Season Round 11: Triglav - Jezica 58-56

The most exciting game of round 11 in the SKL took place in Kranj. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Jezica (7-3) to first ranked Triglav (10-1) 58-56 on Tuesday evening. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Triglav outrebounded Jezica 40-24 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Manca Vrecer (178-2) helped adding 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Sara Meden (171-94) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and Ana Saric (182-0) scored 15 points. Triglav have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Jezica at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Triglav are looking forward to face league's second-placed Celje at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jezica's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ljubljana Ilrija.
