Regular Season Round 10: Anadolu Efes - Pinar Karsiyaka 74-61

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Anadolu Efes as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Anadolu Efes defeated 4th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka in Istanbul 74-61. Anadolu Efes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Chris Singleton (206-89, college: FSU, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. French forward Adrien Moerman (202-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Tony Taylor (184-90, college: GWU) replied with 13 points and 6 assists and international forward Metecan Birsen (208-95) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Pinar Karsiyaka. Four Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Pinar Karsiyaka will play next round against Bursaspor trying to get back on the winning streak. Anadolu Efes will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Socar Petkim on the road.
