Regular Season Round 10: Bakken - Horsens IC 108-89

There was no surprise in Aarhus where 5th ranked Horsens IC (6-4) was crushed by first ranked Bakken (9-1) 108-89 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Horsens IC was better in fourth quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American forward Deshawn Stephens (203-89, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) fired 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (201-91, college: ULM) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Gage Davis (193-95, college: St.Cloud St.) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard David Efianayi (188-95, college: Gardner-Webb) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Bakken and four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-1 record. Loser Horsens IC keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Bakken will face Amager (#5) in Kastrup in the next round. Horsens IC will play at home against Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
