There was no surprise in Klaipeda where 13th ranked Silales Lusis (1-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (4-4) 64-53 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Gediminas Lesciauskas (195-1) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Laurynas Lucinskas (201-93) who recorded 15 points and 4 assists and Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Neptunas-Akv.. They maintain eighth place with 4-4 record. Loser Silales Lusis keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Neptunas-Akv. will face again Silales Lusis (#13) in Rietavas in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
