Very important is a home loss of third ranked BAC (2-7) against fourth ranked Svendborg (8-3) on Friday night. Host BAC unexpectedly was defeated by in Aarhus 69-82. Svendborg made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. American guard Brandon Tabb (193-95, college: BCU) notched 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Bahamas forward Aaron Levarity (203-97, college: Milligan) supported him with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Tabb is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 6 assists by point guard Marius Kirkholt (183-97) did not help to save the game for BAC. Forward Magnus Jespersen (197-97, college: Everett CC) added 13 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Svendborg moved-up to second place, which they share with Naestved. BAC at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Svendborg's next round opponent will be Randers (#4) at home. BAC will play against the league's second-placed Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
