The game between third ranked Turk Telekom (7-4) and fifteenth ranked Besiktas (4-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Turk Telekom was crushed by Besiktas in Istanbul 60-94. Besiktas outrebounded Turk Telekom 44-28 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Turk Telekom's players. American guard James Blackmon-Jr (193-95, college: Indiana) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Egehan Arna (202-97) contributed with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Besiktas players scored in double figures. American guard Kamar Baldwin (185-97, college: Butler) answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Gani-Erdi Gulaslan (202-94) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Turk Telekom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Besiktas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Galatasaray and OGM Orman. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Besiktas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Acibadem.
