There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Ezerunas (2-9) edged higher ranked Delikatesas (2-5) in Moletai 69-66 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Modestas Zaunieriunas (189-94) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. Deividas Kumelis (188-95) contributed with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Ezerunas' coach Rolandas Alijevas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Justin McCarthur (183-95, college: Shippensburg) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and guard Sarunas Kulevicius (194-89) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Delikatesas. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Ezerunas moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Delikatesas dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Ezerunas will face league's leader Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
