A very close game took place in Silute between Silute and Gargzdu. Sixth ranked Silute (6-3) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Gargzdu (6-3). Silute managed to escape with a 2-point win 85-83 in the fight for the fifth place. Silute looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American forward Kahlil Thomas (203-94, college: Rider) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Ernestas Sederevicius (195-98) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by point guard Ernestas Bruzas (182-96) did not help to save the game for Gargzdu. Center Eimantas Zilius (201-99) added 16 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Silute moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Gargzdu. Gargzdu lost third consecutive game. Silute will meet higher ranked Jonava (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gargzdu will play against Delikatesas and hope to secure a win.
