Regular Season Round 5: Osnabrueck - Goettingen 76-55

Bottom-ranked Goettingen is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Osnabrueck (2-2) 76-55. It was a great evening for forward Frieda Buehner (184-4) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Osnabrueck's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Goettingen still closes the standings with five games lost. Osnabrueck will play against Baskets Grunberg (#9) in Gruenberg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Goettingen will play at home against Braunschweig and hopes to get finally their first victory.
