Regular Season Round 11: Fethiye - Darussafaka 54-78

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Dacka (5-6) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Fethiye (3-7) 78-54. Dacka forced 19 Fethiye turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Grant Jerrett (208-93, college: Arizona) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. International point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-96) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. American forward Elgin Cook (197-93, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Caner Ercan (205-86) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacka moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Fethiye dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Dacka's next round opponent will be Gaziantep (#10) at home which should be theoretically another easy game. Fethiye will play against Turk Telekom (#3) in Ankara and hope to win that game.
