Regular Season Round 5: Arad - Targu Secuiesc 80-33

Bottom-ranked Targu Secuiesc (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Arad (3-2) 80-33. The game was mostly controlled by Arad. Targu Secuiesc was better in fourth quarter 13-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Targu Secuiesc to just 6 points in first and third quarters and to 14 points in first half. Arad dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Targu Secuiesc's 22. They outrebounded Targu Secuiesc 45-26 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Paula Lenart (180-96, college: Dartmouth) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and forward Iringo Debreczi (183-96) added 5 points respectively for Targu Secuiesc in the defeat. Arad moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Targoviste and Constanta. Targu Secuiesc at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost.
