The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Amager as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Amager defeated 3rd ranked Horsholm in Kastrup 73-67. Horsholm trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 23-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 67-73 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Horsholm 52-34 including a 43-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international Rikke Fabricius (187-92, college: CMU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Anna Seilund (174-93, college: USF) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Amager players scored in double figures. International forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Horsholm. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amager have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Horsholm lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the third place with three games lost. Horsholm will play next round against SISU trying to get back on the winning streak. Amager will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Herlev on the road.
