Regular Season Round 12: 021 - Radivoj Korac 67-72

The biggest surprise of round 12 in 1 ZLS was guest Radivoj Korac's (#2) road victory over 021 (#3) 72-67 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of 021. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Radivoj Korac forced 22 021 turnovers. The best player for the winners was American Sara Loomis (188-97, college: Ashland) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Nina Vukosavljevic (165-95, college: NYIT) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Radivoj Korac's coach Zoran Akanovic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Bosnian Milina Miseljic (187-97, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Lena Radulovic (165-0) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Radivoj Korac maintains second position with 8-1 record behind leader Crvena Zvezda. 021 at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Radivoj Korac are looking forward to face Vrbas (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. 021 will play against Kraljevo (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
