Rather expected game when 4th placed Copenhagen (3-8) was smashed by first ranked Wolfpack (4-6) in Herlev 111-69 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Wolfpack led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Wolfpack forced 21 Copenhagen turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Wolfpack looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Copenhagen's players. American players dominated the game. Devin Thomas (203-96, college: Indiana St., agency: One Motive Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. Guard Dee Franklin (196-92, college: FVSU) contributed with 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Franklin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Wolfpack players scored in double figures. Center Tyler Creammer (208-97, college: VMI) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds and center Patrick Burke (202-96, college: DBU) added 12 points in the effort for Copenhagen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wolfpack maintains first place with 4-6 record. Loser Copenhagen dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Wolfpack will have a break next round. Copenhagen will play at home against BAC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
