There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Chemnitz (0-6) lost on the road to seventh ranked Crailsheim Merlins (5-1) 88-76 on Wednesday. Crailsheim Merlins made 34-of-40 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game, while Chemnitz only scored seventeen points from the stripe. Chemnitz was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-95, college: Vermont) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. American swingman Tim Coleman (196-95, college: NJIT) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Crailsheim Merlins players scored in double figures.
