No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kagitspor (6-2) defeated on the road 15th ranked Yalova (1-6) 70-58 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American center Horace Spencer (206-97, college: Auburn) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Lamont Jones (183-90, college: Iona) who recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Talat-Alp Altunbey (204-94) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kagitspor. They moved-up to third place. Yalova lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with six games lost. Kagitspor will face Merkezefendi (#14) in Denizl in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yalova will play on the road against Balikesir and hope to win that game.
