There was no surprise when 5th ranked Artsakh (2-13) was defeated on the road by second ranked Yerevan Basket (11-2) 45-31. Yerevan Basket held Artsakh to an opponent 18.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 22.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Yerevan Basket forced 25 Artsakh turnovers. Lebanese power forward Narine Gyokchyan (187-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Mane Movsisyan (170-97) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Yerevan Basket's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
