Regular Season Round 12: Kyiv Basket - Mykolaiv 101-65

Superleague top team - Kyiv Basket (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Mykolaiv (2-8) 101-65. The game without a history. Kyiv Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American forward Michael Jacobson (206-97, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. International Olexandr Mishula (192-92) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Nathan Adrian (206-95, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 14 points and 5 assists and Canadian-Nigerian guard Keith Omoerah (194-92, college: Manitoba) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Mykolaiv. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kyiv Basket have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. Mykolaiv at the other side keeps the tenth place with eight games lost. Kyiv Basket will have a break next round. Mykolaiv will play on the road against Ternopil-TNEU (#6) and hope to win that game.
