Rather expected game when 9th ranked Timberwolves (2-9) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Gunners Oberwart (5-5) 83-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 47-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Gunners Oberwart forced 22 Timberwolves turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Sebastian Kaeferle (185-96) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Lawrence Alexander (190-91, college: NDSU) chipped in 17 points. Four Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures.
