We should mention about the upset which took place in Yalova, where Bodrum lost to Yalova Vip in a road game 73-79. American-Lebanese center Chanita Jordan (196-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and guard Sumeyya Ozcan (160-97) supported her with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds by American guard Loryn Goodwin (175-94, college: OK State) did not help to save the game for Bodrum. Forward Helin Boybeyi (184-95) added 13 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Four Bodrum players scored in double figures. Bodrum's coach Arda Demir rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yalova Vip's next round opponent will be Urla in Izmir and it may be quite challenging game. Bodrum will play at home against Bursa and hope to win that game.
