Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 16th ranked Fethiye (3-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Turk Telekom (8-4) 87-75 on Sunday. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Sam Dekker (204-94, college: Wisconsin) who scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Canadian power forward Kyle Wiltjer (208-92, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Erick Neal (178-95, college: UT Arlington) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 assists and his fellow American import forward Elgin Cook (197-93, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) added 27 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Fethiye's coach Alkim Ay gave the chance to play for eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Turk Telekom maintains fourth position with 8-4 record. Fethiye lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. Turk Telekom will meet Gaziantep (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fethiye will play against Acibadem (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
