Important game to mention about took place in Aarhus. Second ranked Vaerlose (4-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th placed BAC (2-9) 74-73 on Sunday evening. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 22-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for the former international forward Peter Moller (190-94, college: MSU Denver) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points. International Mathias Christensen (202-95) helped adding 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Vaerlose players scored in double figures. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: MSSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and forward Magnus Jespersen (197-97, college: Everett CC) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Vaerlose maintains second place with 4-7 record having just one point less than leader Bakken. BAC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Vaerlose will play against Amager (#5) in Kastrup in the next round. BAC will play on the road against Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
