The biggest surprise of round 7 was guest Arad's (5-2) easy road victory over CSM Targoviste (#5) 63-44 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CSM Targoviste. The game without a history. Arad led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded CSM Targoviste 41-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-81) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Serbian power forward Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89) chipped in 6 points and 16 rebounds. Cristina Badi (178-93) produced 12 points and the former international Gabriela Irimia (183-90) added 7 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Arad have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Brasov. CSM Targoviste at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Constanta.
