The game in Alexandria supposed to be also worth to mention about. Leader Satu Mare (6-0) played at the court of 8th ranked Alexandria (2-5). Satu Mare smashed Alexandria 85-42. The game without a history. Satu Mare led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Alexandria to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 55.7 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Alexandria 41-18 including a 28-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Satu Mare players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Alexandria's players. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Patricia Bright (193-91, college: Oregon St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (on 16-of-19 shooting from the field). Her fellow American import guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky) accounted for 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Satu Mare's coach Maikel Lopez felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Mihaela Mihai (169-90) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Paloma Cucu (165-3) added 14 points respectively for Alexandria in the defeat. Satu Mare have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sf.Gheorghe. Alexandria at the other side keeps the eighth place with five games lost.
