Regular Season Round 12: Rostock - Trier 93-82

Leader Rostock delivered the eighth victory. This time they beat 12th ranked Gladiators (3-5) 93-82. Gladiators were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Iranian Behnam Yakhchali (194-95) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 8 assists. Naturalized American point guard Bradley Loesing (183-89, college: Wofford) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American Chase Adams (176-88, college: Pittsburgh) replied with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and center Kalidou Diouf (205-94, college: CBU) added 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Gladiators. Four Rostock and five Gladiators players scored in double figures. Gladiators' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rostock maintains first position with 8-2 record. Gladiators lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with five games lost. Rostock will play against Kirchheim Knights (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gladiators will play against Schwenningen and hope to get back on the winning track.
