Important game to mention about took place in Sofia. Eighth ranked Slavia (5-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed NSA (6-3) 74-72 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of NSA. Slavia brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Point guard Denis Petkov (183-96) stepped up and scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and guard Todor Zahariev (190-92) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Slavia players scored in double figures. Slavia's coach Kostadin Kostov allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Viktor Serafimov (190-0) with 24 points and 5 rebounds and guard Martin Petrov (182-1) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Slavia maintains eighth place with 5-6 record. Newly promoted NSA keeps the third position with three games lost. Slavia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
