The game between third ranked Eisvogel Freiburg (4-2) and seventh ranked XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen (3-3) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Eisvogel Freiburg was defeated by XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen in Noerdlingen 86-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Eisvogel Freiburg. XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Eisvogel Freiburg's 30. Eisvogel Freiburg's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen moved-up to sixth place. Eisvogel Freiburg at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen are looking forward to face Blue Dolphins (#7) in Marburg in the next round. Eisvogel Freiburg will play at home against Herner TC (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
