Superleague top team - Kyiv Basket (14-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Vinnystkiye M. (2-14) 96-49. The game without a history. Kyiv Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vinnystkiye M. to just 6 points in second quarter. Kyiv Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Vinnystkiye M.'s 28. Kyiv Basket forced 25 Vinnystkiye M. turnovers and outrebounded them 48-24 including a 20-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kyiv Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Vinnystkiye M.'s players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Ganna Rulyova (182-86) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Miriam Uro-Nile (188-94, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Kyiv Basket players scored in double figures. Larysa Stadnik (185-92) answered with 13 points and guard Victoria Ogiy (170-95) added 8 points in the effort for Vinnystkiye M.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kyiv Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-2 record. Vinnystkiye M. lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. Kyiv Basket's next round opponent will be Rivne (#7) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game.
