An interesting game took place in Klaipeda where 8th ranked Neptunas-Akv. (5-8) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Palanga (4-4) 71-55. Palanga players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Mantvydas Zukauskas (193-98) contributed with 13 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Palanga players scored in double figures. Center Gabrielius Mazeika (205-3) replied with 15 points and forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) added 2 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Neptunas-Akv.Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
