Regular Season Round 13: Raiders - KOS 90-76

There was no surprise in Innsbruck where 7th ranked KOS (4-5) was defeated by fourth ranked Raiders Tirol (6-5) 90-76 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Raiders Tirol. KOS was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Raiders Tirol had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. Slovenian guard Elvis Keric (193-98) fired 25 points and 7 assists for the winners. Luxembourg forward Oliver Vujakovic (192-96) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Timi Huber (179-92) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Jernej Heine (191-0) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Five Raiders Tirol and four KOS players scored in double figures. Raiders Tirol moved-up to third place. KOS lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. Raiders Tirol will face league's leader Worthersee Piraten in Klagenfurt in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KOS will play at home against the league's second-placed Mustangs (#2) and hope to win that game.
