The most surprising game was the first loss of Levski Lukoil (6-1) in Sofia on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Balkan (3-2) 68-66. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Levski Lukoil. It was a great evening for American forward Tajuan Agee (206-97, college: Iona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Serbian center Darko Balaban (211-89) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-93, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international Chavdar Kostov (196-88) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Levski Lukoil players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Levski Lukoil at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Balkan are looking forward to face higher ranked Academik Plovdiv (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Levski Lukoil will have a break next round.
