Undefeated leader Satu Mare delivered the eighth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked CSM Targoviste (5-4) 68-48. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Satu Mare's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-7 extending their advantage to 20 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CSM Targoviste to just 7 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Lithuanian swingman Marina Solopova (180-90) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Satu Mare players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Ancuta Stoenescu (175-80) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Gabriela Irimia (183-90) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
