Everything could happen in Wuerzburg at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked MBC and 13th ranked s Oliver Baskets had identical 2-4 record. But s Oliver Baskets were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Weissenfels 80-68 on Sunday night. It was a great evening for Polish swingman Michal Michalak (196-93, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Quinton Hooker (183-95, college: N.Dakota) helped adding 17 points and 8 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. MBC have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bayreuth. Loser s Oliver Baskets keep the thirteenth position with five games lost. MBC will face bottom-ranked Rasta Vechta (#18) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. s Oliver Baskets will play against Bayreuth (#10) and hope to win that game.
