Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jimmy Gavin (191-91, college: Winthrop, agency: 011 Sports) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 assists and the former international Pavel Marinov (199-88) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Beroe's coach Lyubomir Minchev used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: ASU) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Diante Baldwin (180-94, college: UNCG, agency: SLN) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Chernomorets players scored in double figures. Beroe moved-up to fourth place. Loser Chernomorets keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Beroe will meet league's second-placed Rilski in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Chernomorets will play against Spartak Pleven (#9) and hope to secure a win.
