No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Crailsheim Merlins (7-1) defeated at home 12th ranked Skyliners (2-5) 76-64 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-95, college: Vermont) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 assists and American swingman Tim Coleman (196-95, college: NJIT) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American guard Matt Mobley (193-94, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Joe Rahon (188-93, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 12 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Skyliners' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Crailsheim Merlins have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ludwigsburg. Loser Skyliners dropped to the thirteenth place with five games lost. Crailsheim Merlins will meet bottom-ranked Rasta Vechta (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Skyliners will play against Braunschweig (#9) and hope to secure a win.
