The game in Varna supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Rilski (6-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Cherno More (2-5). Rilski smashed Cherno More 95-64 on Wednesday. Rilski dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 30. Rilski forced 22 Cherno More turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Pavlin Ivanov (195-93, agency: 011 Sports) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Rilski players scored in double figures. Power forward Martin Jordanov (207-2) responded with 9 points and swingman Veselin Georgiev (192-86) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Levski Lukoil. Cherno More lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Yambol. Rilski will meet at home Beroe (#4) in the next round. Cherno More will play against the league's leader Levski Lukoil in Sofia and hope to secure a win.
