Bottom-ranked Gisa Lions managed to get a second victory. This time they won against tenth-ranked Hannover in Halle 82-77. Gisa Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Greek center Styliani Fouraki (188-94) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Czech power forward Barbora Kasparkova (183-92) accounted for 23 points and 4 steals. Belarusian guard Alexandra Tarasava (172-88) came up with 23 points and Canadian forward Hannah Brown (185-96, college: Cape Breton) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Hannover in the defeat. Four Hannover players scored in double figures. Gisa Lions (2-6) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Hannover. Hannover lost fourth consecutive game.
