Gemlik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) who had a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Azizcan Ozdemir (201-88) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Duzce Belediye's coach Vasfi Basaran used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Canberk Cevit (183-97) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Brian Starr (190-96, college: Towson) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively.
