The most exciting game of round 13 in the ProA took place in Karlsruhe. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-3) to ninth ranked Lions (5-7) 89-88 on Sunday evening. Lions made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American point guard Greg Foster (190-89, college: SVSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners and Czech center Adam Pechacek (206-95) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Lions players scored in double figures. At the losing side Kevin Yebo (207-96) responded with 24 points and point guard Marvin Heckel (190-97) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lions maintains ninth place with 5-7 record, which they share with Kirchheim. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Art.Dragons. Lions is looking forward to face league's leader Rostock on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will have a break next round.
