BBL top team - EnBW Ludwigsburg (8-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat twelfth ranked s Oliver Baskets (3-6) 87-72. EnBW Ludwigsburg made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American players dominated also this game. Guard Jaleen Smith (193-94, college: UNH) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and swingman Tremmell Darden (194-81, college: Niagara) accounted for 13 points. Guard Cameron Hunt (192-97, college: Southwestern, KS) came up with 15 points and forward Brekkott Chapman (206-96, college: Weber St.) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for s Oliver Baskets in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Crailsheim. Loser s Oliver Baskets keep the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Bayreuth and Bonn.
