Regular Season Round 9: Rilski - Beroe 74-64

An interesting game for Rilski (7-1) which hosted in Samokov 4th placed Beroe (4-4). Second ranked Rilski managed to get a 10-point victory 74-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Beroe. American players dominated the game. Point guard Brandon Brown (180-91, college: LMU) stepped up and scored 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Jimmy Gavin (191-91, college: Winthrop, agency: 011 Sports) with 13 points and 4 assists and forward Kaleb Bishop (203-97, college: FDU) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rilski have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Levski Lukoil. Beroe at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Akademik P.. Rilski will play against league's leader Levski Lukoil in Sofia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Beroe will play at home against Spartak Pleven and hopes to get back on the winning track.
