The former international center Andreas Seiferth (209-89) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Frank Bartley IV (190-94, college: La-Lafayette, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) during the contest. Bartley IV is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American center David Kravish (208-92, college: California) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and international Christian Sengfelder (203-95, college: Boise St.) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Brose Bamberg players scored in double figures. Brose Bamberg's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bayreuth moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Brose Bamberg dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Bayreuth will face league's leader EnBW Ludwigsburg at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
