This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to fourth ranked EWE Baskets (8-2) 82-80 on Wednesday evening. American power forward Nathan Boothe (206-94, college: Toledo) fired 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Martin Breunig (203-92, college: Montana) chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Joshua Young (184-88, college: Drake) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Dennis Clifford (213-92, college: Boston Coll.) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. EWE Baskets have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Rasta Vechta at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. EWE Baskets will meet Brose Bamberg (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
