Regular Season Round 13: Hagen - Bremerhaven 93-91

Important game to mention about took place in Hagen. Twelfth ranked Phoenix Hagen (3-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-3) 93-91 on Wednesday evening. Phoenix Hagen players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Joel-Sadu Aminu (193-97) nailed 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winning side and Dominik Spohr (198-89) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Phoenix Hagen players scored in double figures. American point guard Trey Davis (183-93, college: UMass) came up with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and center Marcel Kessen (207-97) added 16 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in the defeat. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Phoenix Hagen maintains twelfth place with 3-6 record. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Art.Dragons. Phoenix Hagen will play against higher ranked Kirchheim Knights (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will have a break next round.
