Regular Season Round 11: Wasserburg - Osnabrueck 96-64

An interesting game for TSV 1880 Wasserburg (7-1) which hosted in Wasserburg 4th placed Osnabrueck (5-4). Third ranked TSV 1880 Wasserburg had an easy win 96-64. TSV 1880 Wasserburg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Osnabrueck's 40. They outrebounded Osnabrueck 26-15 including 19 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. Guard Kelly Moten (173-93, college: Emporia St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. Forward Maggie Mulligan (189-95, college: UMass) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five TSV 1880 Wasserburg players scored in double figures. TSV 1880 Wasserburg's coach Sidney Parsons felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Allazia Blockton (183, college: Marquette) answered with 17 points and forward Samantha Fuehring (190-97, college: Louisville) added 14 points in the effort for Osnabrueck. TSV 1880 Wasserburg moved-up to second place. Osnabrueck at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. TSV 1880 Wasserburg are again looking forward to face Osnabrueck (#4) on the road in the next round. Osnabrueck will have a break next round.
